style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <b>Switch Driver<\/b> feature allows for easy switching of drivers.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The following are the different ways to perform a Switch Driver action:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><b>Main Navigation Menu<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Swipe from the left edge of the screen, or tap the <strong>Main Navigation<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong> Menu icon<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-289\" src=\"http:\/\/developer.vistracks.com\/hos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/SwitchDriver-1.png\" alt=\"SwitchDriver-1\" width=\"38\" height=\"38\" \/> to show the Main Navigation Menu.<\/span><br highlighted portion on top stating \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap to add or change driver\u201d <\/span><\/i><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nafter which the \u2018Switch Driver\u2019 screen will then be displayed.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Tap the <img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"SwitchDriver-5\" width=\"150\" height=\"30\" \/> to add another driver, this will redirect the HOS app to the login screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b> Switch Co-Driver button (Options)<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to <\/span><b>Hours of Service Main Screen.<\/b><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1148\" style=\"padding-left: 120px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Note:<\/b> If there are no other drivers who are currently logged into the HOS app, a popup dialog will show. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-298 alignnone\" style=\"border: solid 1px black;\" 120px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also add a driver by tapping the<b> <\/b><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-299 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/developer.vistracks.com\/hos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/SwitchDriver-11.png\" alt=\"SwitchDriver-11\" width=\"124\" height=\"67\" \/> <strong>LOGON CO-DRIVER <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Displaying the Team Driving buttons such as \u2018LOGON CO-DRIVER\u2019 and \u2018SWITCH CO-DRIVER\u2019 are based on the value set on its account property. Having a value of <strong>false<\/strong> will disable the buttons and will not display it.<\/li>\n<li>When logging in a Co-Driver, the default Truck and Trailer value will be the current <strong>Truck <\/strong>and <strong>Trailer <\/strong>value of the Main Driver.<\/li>\n<li>Also the HOS app will always ask for the password every time a co-driver switch to active .<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-980\" src=\"http:\/\/developer.vistracks.com\/hos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/1704-driver-options-switc-password-min.png\" width=\"325\" height=\"186\" \/><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By checking the <\/span><b>Make Primary Driver<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> checkbox, you can set the switching driver to be the primary driver.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon successful login, the ELD records the logging in of another driver. It records a remark event on the driver\u2019s logs stating the first and last name of the co-driver.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-576\" src=\"http:\/\/developer.vistracks.com\/hos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/1609-switch_driver_past-1.png\" width=\"481\" height=\"137\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>(Per FMCSA, (a) ELD must provide an account secure access to data recorded and stored on the system by requiring user authentication during system login.
